GTSF Investments Committee

The Investments Committee is a $1.5 million endowment completely managed by students at Georgia Tech and serves to finance philanthropy on campus. The Mentorship program, which is led virtually by Garett McVay, is a 10-week lecture series to learn more about investing, finance, and ultimately, get placed within the Investments Committee. They are looking for driven, motivated, and diverse students to grow our portfolio and the IC. The organization provides an exceptional opportunity for real-life application of financial concepts. In recent semesters we have been fortunate enough to have some of the club’s alumni go on to work for prestigious firms around the country. Virtual Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. over Zoom beginning Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Please email the Mentorship Director, Garett McVay, garettmcvay1@gmail.com to be added to enroll.

Students who participate in this program will build their knowledge of markets and how to value companies while improving their presentation skills. They will also have the opportunity to engage with private companies as there will be guest speakers twice monthly. Students will also gain access to an extensive alumni network.
