We are The GovTech Network, a newly-conceived political think tank that, through drawing on the expertise of those in college or recently graduated, will function not only as a research institution on various tech policy issues, but also as a host for conferences, open debates, and lectures from specialists within this field. We are currently in search of people who would be interested in joining our U.S. national and regional boards: whether you are interested in AI facial recognition technology posing racial biases in identification or the current conflict between Huawei and the U.S. over 5G infrastructure implementation, you are the kind of person we are looking for!
There are various exciting plans in the works for the next year, including a partnership program with the Ditchley Foundation in England (https://www.ditchley.com) and a speaker panel with the founder of Draper Associates Tim Draper. National and regional executive board members will play a crucial role in the organization and management of these projects, as well as in the running of the organization at the general level.
