About the HNF: DC internships can be very expensive! Unfortunately, the high cost often dissuades students from applying in the first place. Our club, the Alexander Hamilton Society is offering a fellowship with $3,000 to offset this cost. The Hamilton National Fellowship (HNF) provides grants to students and recent graduates with summer internships in Washington, DC in the fields of foreign, defense, and economic policy. President’s Undergraduate Research Awards fund student salaries to conduct undergraduate research with Georgia Tech faculty and offset travel expenses for undergraduates to present their research at professional conferences. Between two hundred and three hundred competitive awards are offered each year. Rules and Eligibility Applicant must be an undergraduate student in good standing (GPA > 2.0). A Georgia Tech faculty mentor or GTRI scientist is required for the proposed research project. Students are not allowed to receive academic course credit for a research project funded by PURA. Each spring the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts recognizes an extraordinary graduate student, undergraduate student, and faculty member with an Ivan Allen, Jr., Legacy Award.
