Sigma Iota Rho Call for Assoc. Editors and Papers

Associate Editor Positions:

Associate Editors: In SIR’s Copy Department, we value quality above all else. It is our job to ensure the Journal receives quality submissions, to pick the best of those submissions, and to work with the authors to edit them and make them ready for publication this spring. While training and some preliminary work will take place in the fall, note that all positions on this team are more work-intensive in the spring semester. Ideal applicants will have editing experience, be meticulously attentive to detail, and not shy away from hard and focused work. The Journal’s acceptance as the premier undergraduate publication in the field depends on its professional quality; it is the Copy Department’s job to affect that professionalism and excellence.

Please submit a cover letter and resume to detailing your editing experience and your interest in the joining the Copy Department of the Journal. Please contact us with any questions as well.

Applications for Associate Editors are due on November 11th by 5pm.
