PairMe Mentorship Opportunity

The Undergraduate Research Ambassadors are excited to announce that we are piloting a new platform – created by students for students – to facilitate undergraduate research engagement! If you are seeking a research position for Spring 2022, I encourage you to apply directly to postings made by mentors in labs at GT (and Emory for BME students). Postings can be made at any time, so be sure to check back frequently if you do not see the perfect position immediately.

Check out PairMe here!

To use the platform as a mentee:

  1. Browse openings and apply to positions you feel are interesting. Be sure to research the lab before applying so that you can talk about yourself, what is interesting about the lab, and why you would be a great fit! I recommend attaching a resume to your application.
  2. To learn more about what other students are doing and read about tips to get involved, browse the student projects section for inspiration.
  3. Check out the additional linked resources for further guidance! URA Ambassadors have office hours weekly at https://calendly.com/uragatech to answer any additional questions you may have.

Please direct questions to Amy Liu (aliu308@gatech.edu).
