State Department Info Session, January 20

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is pleased to bring representatives of the US Department of State to campus to meet with students about career opportunities.  On Thursday, January 20, Terrence Williams, the Diplomat in Residence for Morehouse and Spelman, as well as Jeff Levine, the State Department’s Director of Recruitment, Examination and Employment will hold an Information Session at 3pm in Habersham 136.  You are encouraged to attend to learn more about student opportunities and careers with the US Department of State.  Biographical information and a flyer are below.

 

Jeff Levine has been the State Department’s director of Recruitment, Examination and Employment since September 2010.   Prior to this position, he served as Deputy Chief of Mission/Charge’ d’Affaires at the U.S.  Embassy in Budapest, Hungary from 2007-2010.

 Terrence K. Williamson, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, has served with distinction with the U.S. Department of State since January of 1986.  Mr. Williamson has held a number of significant positions in the in the Department, both domestically and overseas.  Prior assignments include Mission Germany Information Management Counselor, Associate Dean of the School of Applied Information Technology at the Foreign Service Institute and Deputy Executive Director of the Bureau of Information Resources Management, one of the largest functional Bureaus in the Department where he oversaw an annual budget approaching $1 Billion.
