The United Nations University (www.unu.edu <http://www.unu.edu> ) is currently accepting applications for its internship programme at the Office of the Rector, located at the United Nations University Headquarters, Tokyo. We would like to extend this valuable learning opportunity to graduate students at the Georgia Institute of Technology, particularly graduate students at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
We seek your cooperation and guidance in reaching out to your graduate student body. Please find attached herewith an announcement for this programme. We invite you to review the flier and our website (www.unu.edu/internships/ro <http://www.unu.edu/internships/ro> ). Should you consider this a suitable opportunity for your graduate students, we would be most grateful if you could assist us in circulating this information, either by posting on a relevant bulletin or by other means as you deem appropriate.
We recognize that it may be difficult for current students to take time off from their coursework, however we welcome recent grads as well as those currently enrolled in master’s or doctoral programmes. In addition, we fully recognize the benefits of being able to receive academic credit for such an endeavour. We are willing to do what we can in order to help current graduate students receive credit, e.g. through the INTA Independent Study process.
