The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta invites interested undergraduate students to apply for the 2014 Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta Summer Fellowship. The fellowship is an opportunity for a current student (rising sophomore, junior or senior) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of a community foundation through exposure to many aspects of the philanthropic sector in the metropolitan Atlanta region, during an intensive ten (10) week period. This is an invaluable experience for an individual with a commitment to making a difference, over time, in the region.
Applicants should be highly motivated, articulate, eager to learn and willing to work hard. The fellow will be included as a full member of the Foundation staff, participating in the wide range of foundation activities from administrative matters to in-depth meetings with grantees, community partners and donors.
