The World Affairs Council of Atlanta is hosting it’s 6th Annual Conference on “Growing Insecurity: The Risks of Access, Openness & Freedom” on Saturday, February 1st, 2014.
The conference is particularly timely with global headlines raising questions of personal privacy versus national security. The conference will last from 9:00am – 4:00pm and will be followed by a reception from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at the Commerce Club, 191 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA.
The conference will address the shifting dynamics of security in a rapidly changing world from the perspective of the individual, institutions, and through the national and global levels. A list of conference speakers can be found here.
There will be free admission for ten students to this year’s conference. Check out the flyer attached and contact ina@gsu.edu or call (404) 413-7030 if you’re interested in attending.
