The United Nations Intensive Summer Study Program is a one week program from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, 2014, by the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University and the United Nations Foundation – United Nations Association of the USA. The program is open to outstanding undergraduate students and graduate students.
You can choose to either participate for credit or not for credit. If you opt for the credit option you will receive three semester credit hours from Seton Hall University.
Participants can expect to be immersed in activities 12 hours a day for the full week of the program. Each day commences with breakfast at Seton Hall, followed by a chartered bus to the U.N. Program sessions continue throughout the day at U.N. plaza, with dinners provided on campus in the evenings. Students will also have time for cultural activities in New York City. On-campus single rooms with an adjoining bath are available from July 6th to July 12th. Participants may also choose to commute to Seton Hall for the duration of the program.
Program costs vary depending on which option you choose and what level of education you have received.
If interested you must apply by May 1, 2014. You should hear back about your status by May 15, 2014.
