Join us March 18 at 8pm EST for a special Google Hangout with America’s Unofficial Ambassadors Director Ben Orbach. Ben will lead an interactive discussion on Careers in International Development and offer advice and insight to job-seekers on how break into the field.
Along the way, Ben will discuss the America’s Unofficial Ambassadors Summer Service Internship program and talk about service placements available in Morocco, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Tanzania.
This webinar is a great opportunity to learn more about working in International Development and it is open to anyone interested in international careers with the government, the nonprofit sector or businesses. Ben will speak with participants about the skills and experience needed to work in the field and give first-hand stories from his career to guide future job-seekers.
From 2004-2007, Ben was the Deputy Regional Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). Before joining the State Department, Ben was a research fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Ben has a Masters degree in Middle East Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) and a BA in History from the University of Michigan.
