CDCOLOGY – get involved with the CDC!

Calling all Students!

Whether you know all there is to know about CDC, or you’ve just watched The Walking Dead, if you are a student with an interest in learning more about the nation’s premiere public health agency and helping us tackle some major public health challenges, then we want you!

We’re looking for students – undergrads, graduate, professional, post-docs, etc- to be part of a groundbreaking pilot called CDCOLOGY. CDCOLOGY is a way for students to solve short, virtual microtasks that are created and posted by CDC Staff.

What do you get out of this? Great question. You’ll gain valuable exposure and insight to CDC’s work, learn about the field of public health, and get an awesome educational experience that can be completed quickly in the comfort of your apartment, dorm room, or favorite coffee shop. You’ll work with CDC staff, make a real impact, and potentially build your résumé.

Not a public health person? No worries…We need people with all types of skills and interests in addition to public health- policy, preparedness, technology, writing, graphic design, data analysis, and lab sciences, among others. Sound cool? We think so and hope you do to.
