Dr. Claudia Hillinger, Vice President for Institute Development of the Max Planck Florida Institute and President of the Max Planck Florida Foundation, will present an overview of the world-renowned Max Planck Society and the rationale behind the development of the Society’s first institute outside of Europe. She will bring the audience up-to-date on the status of the facility on the MacArthur Campus of the Florida Atlantic University Campus in Jupiter, Florida, as well as the focus of the Institute’s research, collaboration with the research community, and commitment to economic and educational development in Florida and across the country.
