Department of State Data Scientist Hiring Information Session | Wednesday, April 13, 2022

Are you a data scientist with an interest in supporting the foreign policy goals of the U.S. government?  The Department of State will launch an agency-wide data scientist hiring initiative in April 2022.  The Department plans to hire more than fifty data scientists to drive data-driven diplomacy as part of its modernization agenda.

Please join the Department of State for an information session on the hiring initiative under the new OPM Data Scientist 1560 job series. This event is hosted through a partnership between the Office of Management Strategy and Solutions’ Center for Analytics (M/SS CfA) — the Department’s enterprise data management and analytics capability — and Global Talent Management (GTM).

The information session will take place via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, April 13 at 12:00 p.m. EDT.

The webinar is an opportunity to learn about what it is like to be a data scientist at the Department of State, as well as ask questions.
