The Hispanic Employee Council of Foreign Affairs Agencies (HECFAA). Here at HECFAA invites you to their symposium, on October 14, 2021. This event is hosted in collaboration with the Department of State’s Bureau of Global Public Affairs during Hispanic Heritage Month because they are targeting Hispanics and LatinX students that are interested in pursuing a career in international affairs. There is going to be an opportunity at the end of the symposium for attendees to meet with recruiters and network within the department. A few of the names you will see during the symposium are Ambassador Carmen Cantor, Ambassador Maria Brewer, Civilian Deputy to the Commander and Foreign Policy Advisor in the U.S. Southern Command Francisco Palmieri, and Representative Joaquin Castro.
