Cyber Defenders is up to a 12-week, paid summer internship at LLNL in the San Francisco Bay Area. The program provides undergraduate and graduate students with practical experience in understanding computer systems, network operations, computer security, information protection, and cyber policy.
To be eligible, candidates must be a continuing student enrolled in a degree program for Fall 2012. The program accepts students in a broad range of disciplines including computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, information assurance, visualization, political science, economics, international relations, or a related field of study. The program starts in June and runs through September, with start and end dates dependent on the individual student’s school schedule.
