Georgia Teaching Fellows

Applications for the Georgia Teaching Fellows program for the summer 2013 cohort will be available as of October 29, 2012.

Georgia Teaching Fellows is part of The New Teacher Project (TNTP) and works to meet the needs of schools in counties in the Augusta area (Burke and Richmond) and in Southwest Georgia (Dougherty, Meriwether, and Muscogee). Placement location for corps members depends upon the current needs of the school districts.  Individuals teach in a specific subject area.  Teaching Fellows must complete the state-approved TNTP Academy requirements to obtain teacher certification.
