New Service-Learning Study Abroad Programs!

Have you ever wanted to visit South Africa, Ireland, or the Dominican Republic? OIE has added three new International Service-Learning study abroad programs so now you can! International Service-Learning programs aim to meet the needs of local communities, helping foster civic responsibility while engaging students in a rigorous academic program. These new programs will offer course credit and they will take place during the fall and spring semester.

Check out these links for information about participating in the program or email Mary Alice Allen with any questions.

Georgia Tech has also established a new partnership with the University of Gaborone in Botswana!  This exchange program offers a wide range of academic coursework and provides the opportunity to study and live in Botswana while learning firsthand about the country and is people.  Get ready to pursue an intensive curriculum in classes with local students while exploring Botswana and its role in the Southern African region . Although coursework is applicable for most students, preferred majors for this program are business administration, economics, international affairs, mathematics and most engineering majors.  For more information, please email Emily Edens.
